Reality TV
Every time I turn on the TV, I always see some reality TV show on. They are all over the place. I don't think there is any time when I can turn on my TV and not see some reality TV show on. They are everywhere and they keep on coming out with new ones all the time. Its either Dance Moms, Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor, The Jersey Shore or even The Real Housewives of New York City. Yes I watch reality TV shows here and there but not every week like some people. I have friends who freak out if they miss one episode of their favorite show. Im just in it to watch the drama. Such as Cake Boss, Buddy is always arguing with his older sister because she is always trying to take control. Also they run into many problems when making their cakes. Just so suspenseful. Who else wouldn't want to see people run into the most random events or see people yell at each other over the littles things? But most of the time the producers create drama or suspense to make sure the viewers come back next week to watch another episode. Such as the show Auction Hunters, no one gets that lucky to find a hover boat in a storage units. Yes you can get lucky but not that lucky to find all those interesting things every week. It has to be set up. Like Gold Rush, how do they know where the gold is? I would like to work with them if they find that much gold all the time. Some look to these shows for inspiration, because then they could also do the same as them. The Biggest Loser is probably one of the most inspirational shows ever. Showing people that anyone can lose weight aslong as they have the confidence. Some look to these shows for comfort, because their lives may be much better off than the poor victims from shows such as Hoarders. But in absolute reality, these shows are anything but real.
