Huxley vs. Orwell
After reading the comic again, first thing that popped into my mind is how we're surrounded with technology. The comic strip view was the perfect way to show both Huxley's and Orwell's point of view. First Orwell's view then Huxley's. Both Huxley and Orwell were correct. What's interesting is the fact that while culturally we tend towards Huxley and politically we tend towards Orwell. The comic said we're getting obsessed with the things we love; we are getting lazier and we don't know it. You never see kids playing outside anymore, they're either playing video games, watching TV, or updating their status on Facebook. McMillen displayed pictures to show illustration so we wouldn't be confused at the points they were talking about. He could have chosen many of different methods but if he did then I would have lost my focus half way through. Im a sucker for articles or books with pictures .
